10-Day North Pakistan Jeep Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Islamabad
Arrive at Islamabad International Airport. Meet your guide, briefings, and transfer to hotel. Prepare your gear for the journey ahead.
Day 2: Islamabad – Naran / Kaghan Valley
Drive along the Kaghan Valley, passing rivers, forests, and alpine meadows. Overnight in Naran.
Day 3: Naran – Babusar Top – Chilas
Cross Babusar Top (4,173 m) and descend towards Chilas along scenic valleys and rivers.
Day 4: Chilas – Skardu
Drive through the Gilgit region with breathtaking views of the Indus River and surrounding mountains. Overnight in Skardu.
Day 5: Skardu – Shigar – Deosai National Park
Jeep safari to Deosai Plains, crossing high-altitude terrain. Witness wildflowers, alpine lakes, and the rare wildlife of Deosai. Overnight camping under the stars.
Day 6: Deosai – Skardu – Gilgit
Return via Skardu to Gilgit, passing valleys, rivers, and local villages. Explore local culture and traditional markets.
Day 7: Gilgit – Hunza Valley (Karimabad)
Drive into Hunza Valley, visiting Baltit Fort and Altit Fort, and enjoy panoramic views of peaks like Rakaposhi. Overnight in Karimabad.
Day 8: Hunza Exploration – Passu and Attabad Lake
Jeep safari along Upper Hunza (Gojal), crossing the Passu Cones, Hussaini Suspension Bridge, and visiting Attabad Lake, a turquoise wonder formed in 2010.
Day 9: Hunza – Khunjerab Pass – Sost
Cross the Khunjerab Pass (4,693 m) into China’s border area. Enjoy the high-altitude scenery and rare wildlife. Overnight in Sost.
Day 10: Sost – Gilgit – Islamabad
Drive or fly back to Islamabad for departure. End of tour with memories of one of the most scenic jeep safaris in the world.
